Patterson Park Pharmacy, a specialty compounding pharmacy, is looking for a Full-time pharmacist to join their team in Baltimore, MD.

In this exciting position, you will be involved in many aspects of the business including tasks ranging from daily operations, managing team members to building customer relations. You will play an important role in increasing refill rates and implementing patient outreach programs. You will be actively involved with the internal and external sales team for clinical support. Your clinical knowledge will be fully utilized in discussing disease outcomes and compounding formulations. You will be the source to create new formulations to improve patient outcomes. You will also manage a program which will increase the star rating of the pharmacy and implement a successful MTM and immunization program.   • Bachelor’s in Computer System (a back ground in engineering is A++)


  • At least 1 years of business to business sales experience
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Words, MS Accessemails etc.

Job Description :

Our pharmacy technicians perform a variety of tasks within the pharmacy with a sense of urgency and completeness. These tasks range from the basic operations of the retail pharmacy, to the intricate details of the compounding lab. The right candidate will show promising experience in a retail setting with potential for advancement into our compounding lab.

Duties In the Retail Setting :

Include but are not limited to: processing prescriptions, communicating directly with patients in person and over the phone, creating patient profiles, billing insurance companies, processing return to stocks, filing invoices, checking the fax and voicemail queue.

Duties Within the Lab:

Prioritizing compound orders, filing invoices, filing chemical Assays, updating chemical inventory, cleaning lab work environment on a daily basis and after each preparation, utilizing lab program for formulations, documenting training throughout the training process, sending dosage forms for potency testing on a timely basis, documenting and labeling prescription compound orders as they are submitted to the lab.

  • Must be certified by MD Board of Pharmacy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills required.
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task required.
  • Basic math skills required
  • Computer experience required (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and PBM claims systems).
  • Previous experience in health care industry required (retail pharmacy experience, data entry of prescriptions,navigation of PBM claims systems)
  • Ability to take direction from supervisors in response to fluctuating volume of calls and case load.
